Why not? March 7, 2008

Why not?
Rock the house! Or the Please Touch Museum with Yosi and the Super Dads, as they perform at the Please Touch Museum. This energetic concert for families and children occurs live throughout the day on Saturday, March 8th at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm.

You may be busy on Easter weekend with celebrations of your own, but don’t let that stop you from getting in some early celebrations!

Get in good with the Easter Bunny early! Eat breakfast with our cute and fuzzy floppy-eared friend and hunt for eggs at the Crayola Factory. The event includes a boxed breakfast and Easter egg goodies. The cost is $11 for children ages 3-9 and $8 for adults. Space is limited so call quick and make your reservations, 610-515-8000. This event also occurs on the March 9th, 15th, 16th and 22nd.

Join Johnson’s Corner Farm for Hayrides and Easter eggs! Take a hayride across the farm, hunt for eggs and meet with the East Bunny! Hay rides are $8 for Egghunter and $2.75 for the non-hunting riders. This goes from March 8th to March 23rd. Weekdays at 10am and 4 pm only and weekends and Good Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm every half hour.

Don’t forget Button the Hippo has a birthday bash all month long at the Adventure Aquarium. Saturday March 8th Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer joins in for the fun. The fun doesn’t stop there join the Hippos for breakfast (my son would totally get a kick out this) on March 9th. These events also include children’s arts and crafts, games and live shows. Check out the Adventure Aquarium website for more information!

The flowers may not be blooming outside but they are in full spring at The Flower Show at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Inspired by the roaring 20’s to the New Orleans French Quarter, the Flower show will inspire you to Jazz it up (or create your own really cool garden). Join the Flower Show for for parades, a floral showcase, live entertainment, fabulous shopping and great gardens. Children under 2 and free, ages 2-6 $13 and adults $22. Saturday, March 8th is the last day! Check out their website for more information.
