President for a Day February 16, 2008

I don’t know how I forgot about this one, but here is something else to take the kids to this weekend!

With Election ’08 heating up to be a competitive and historic battle, you little ones may be more aware of the race for President than ever.

What better day than President’s Day to show them the the ins and outs of not only being President but running a campaign.

With the help of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, and their President for a Day exhibit, your little ones can receive the presidential treatment. Kids can watch current and past presidential campaigns, and participate in crafts. Taking the presidency into their own hands they can create their own campaign slogans, buttons and seals while being sworn into the oval office. In the celebration of Baseball as America exhibit they can even practice throwing out the first pitch.

This exhibit, combined with the diversity of our current candidates, you can truly show your child, regardless of race, religion or creed, that they too can become President!

President for a Day runs Saturday, February 16th to Sunday the 18th, from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
